Review on 📔 12x12 Matte Navy Old Town Bonded Leather Scrapbook Pages - Album by Karla Richter

This is a disappointingly poor photo/scrapbook with poor quality control. On the album I received, the front of the leather cover, one of which is folded over three mounting screws on the inside, is completely warped and the fold of the leather is not parallel and "roughs" where it meets the inner bond meets. Unacceptable period. Also this album is advertised as "leather" but it looks and feels like cheap synthetic. More importantly, the self-contained acid-free 12" x 12" white "cardstock" -Pages for scrapbooking are too fragile for their weight and stiffness to hold multiple photos which would of course be mounted on both sides of each page. Priced at only 30 pages, it had to be made from MUCH heavier acid-free cardstock to easily support the weight of large pages of photos and memorabilia on each side of the plastic-coated page. The only reason I bought this album in a larger format was because of the large and wide pages - but they are unacceptably thin and therefore difficult to maneuver in the inserts when inserting photos into both sides. And the original album is only 30 pages as opposed to the standard 50 page albums. Chintzy and bad together. If you want to promote quality --- OFFER a quality product. Too bad because the only good design idea of this album is everything. 12" x 12" acid-free freeform scrapbooking page that slides in and out of the top of any plastic protector. In other words, the user controls the spacing and design of each page's content and is no longer limited to the typical "pocket" inserts with preset photo sizes of most albums.
