I have a traditionally broad chested Staffordshire Terrier mix. She also loves her zooms! Coats with buttons or zippers across the chest just can't take the pressure of a wide chest + zumi combo. We have a winter coat with a panel on the chest and a tie around the waist. She wasn't able to rip this coat off and it stays in place pretty well. For this reason I replaced our existing dog coat with this coat with the same closure. It holds up much better than men's raincoat models and does not come off on a broad chest. When she needs an insulating layer due to the chilly wind, this coat easily adjusts to accommodate an extra layer. I highly recommend this coat for wide chested bully breeds that can be difficult to adjust. It's also a great option for an immature dog between the ages of 1 and 3 years as it can be adjusted for a slight weight change.
