Review on Improving Your Run with ASICS Women's Gt-2000 9: A Detailed Review by Jason Guzman

I've been wearing Asics for at least 15 years. It's time for a new pair. The same GT 2000 I bought was a size 8 which I ordered in the latest GT 2000 9. They have since added more padding which made the shoe appear smaller to me. Another thing that changed was their one-piece mesh upper, which felt better on the top of the foot BUT I didn't feel like it was reinforced enough in key areas like the older models to close the toe box administer. I could see how a worn toenail could snap through the tip. I read other reviews that said this and I had to return them. I also tried a larger size and it was too big so tried a wider width instead which worked better. In the end I felt that despite the lower price it wasn't a worthwhile investment. Asics needs further tweaking to accurately correct the upper toe area. Instead, I bought the Gel Kayano 27.
