These pans are heavier than expected - much better than anything I've seen in a pizzeria. They are carefully polished and the rim is slightly curved. I bought these for camping use. I can use them as unbreakable plates, I can use them as lids for my old lidless aluminum camping pots and I can use them as serving plates for breakfast rolls or pancakes. Since there is a slightly folded lip at the bottom, I can use an aluminum lifter when using a pizza pan as a pot lid. I am very satisfied with the pans and the price.
