The Ski Harness was exactly what we needed for the first day of skiing with our 5 year old daughter. She went from having a hard time standing on skis to skiing down the bunny hill on her own within 5 hours. We did not use the straps on the first day. the harness was great for having place to grab onto our daughter when she was getting unstable or about to fall. Also, great for getting on/off lifts. Our next day on the mountain (next week) will be the next step of adding in the straps to allow her to ski out in front of use on more advanced terrain. She is ready to be throw into it rather than spending days on the bunny hill thanks to the harness.
