I am revising my original review after the watch broke! This lasted anywhere from a month and a half to 2 years when the staff broke off rendering it unusable. Charles Hubert's warranty website states that this is not covered by the lifetime warranty on the movement, so I was left with a useless keepsake! I wrote earlier: I've had this watch for a little over a year. It is amazing and never ceases to amaze those who see it! Also, this is a serious watch that loses about a minute every 2-3 weeks, which is not bad for a less expensive mechanical watch. The lid (which opens) is slightly offset, but this is not immediately noticeable. The skeleton adds beauty and allows you to watch him at work. For example, if you look at the mainspring, you can see if it needs to be rewound. A great way to relieve the pain wristwatches sometimes cause.
