First of all I would like to confirm most of the positive points and dispute many of the negatives. I don't understand why people can't put their phones in this case unless they are trying to put their Otterbox or other case in this case. My iPhone XS Max slipped right in, leaving room, and so each of the latest iPhone generations up to the XS Max comes with a special "spacer". The mechanism of the system that makes the touchscreen work underwater is pretty ingenious and worked just as well at 80 feet as it did on the surface, which wasn't amazing but could be used with persistence. I use a screen protector that I didn't want to remove and they claim that the touchscreen would work better if I removed it. Again, I was able to get everything working with the screen protector, so I went with that. Divevolk's instructions boldly show you how to set up your iPhone's access controls to offset the limitations of an underwater touchscreen. MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS. It's useless if you don't. Ok, now for the reason I'm giving this review 3 stars. I bought this bag new, it came in four layers of sealed boxes, so I'm sure I got everything the manufacturer supplied, a lot of things - a bag, a strap, a lens changing tool, everything , what you need . various phone adapters and lens cloths. Unfortunately, all of the product photos and an official video below show a mini tripod or selfie stick mount. He even has the Divevolk name on his mount in these photos. There are other product images showing the dive lights mounted on this case. NONE of these accessories/options were included in the box, and besides, there is no obvious way to make such connections. In one shot, the tripod appears to have been connected to a simple phone clip. Such a clip might work on land, but even if it were included in this case, it would be utterly useless when diving. It's just not safe enough. The dive I tested this case on was a complete wreck and as with most reefs there were many spots where you wanted to place your camera but were afraid to place your hand/arm. That could make this case a poor replacement for those used to diving with a GoPro. But the iPhone's image quality is miles above that of a GoPro, so you might be more interested in capturing serious underwater photos with the right lighting. Well, according to the Divevolk video, you can too. Except you can't, because there aren't any connections for the external lights pictured and there's no mention of it in the very sparse instructions. So you end up with a pretty expensive housing to use your phone underwater that looks better but is less versatile than a GoPro. It also binds your hands like it always has with Ikelite, but you can't get comparable results because there's no way to add the right light. Diving with his hands tied is not an easy task in this case. This changes your diving experience significantly. So it's frustrating to endure all this and still get gray colorless images. All in all, I'm in the 3-star range. Good but not as good as advertised and not a clear alternative to other more versatile or better picture options. If they really gave it all the features they claim I would happily change my rating to 5 stars.
