Review on 🔽 Lutron Caseta PD-FSQN-IV Ivory Ceiling Fan Speed Control Switch: Smart Home Compatible with Alexa, Apple HomeKit, and Google Assistant by Jacob Morrison

Not a good speed choice

Lutron has finally released a fan speed controller. I have several Caséta switches for dimmers and fan switches at home, so I loved the fan speed control. Installation was easy. Ground, Line, Load and Neutral. For some reason, Lutron taped or pinned the line wire screws, and the rest connects to the wire nuts in the junction box. There are 4 speeds: low, medium, medium-high and high. However, these are inaccurate descriptions. More accurate names would be Very Low, Very Low, Low, and High. On a scale of 1 to 10, the speeds would likely be described as follows: Low: 1.0 Medium: 1.1 Medium High: 2.5 High: 10 Low and medium are completely indistinguishable. Aside from the speed selector, the switch works great. Easy integration with the Hub and Alexa.

Pros
  • EASY 3-WAY INSTALLATION: Create a 3-way system by mounting the Fan Pico to almost any wall surface - no cutting holes or running wires, with the wall mount bracket (PICO-WBX-ADAPT separately available) . Replace existing 3-position switches with a mounting bracket and pico over the backbox
Cons
