i have had this keyboard since 2013 and love it. that works great! During the quarantine, I set up a home office next to my office and the first thing I bought was a Das keyboard. - never fails. - just does its job, no frills, just works as usual. is the best keyboard I've ever tried. Highly recommended! To update. I recently had a major keyboard issue - I upgraded my laptop to a new MacBook Pro model M1 and left my peripherals with a CalDigit dock - the perfect match, except the DasKeyboard didn't work. I tried everything on the connectors, checked all the ports in the dock, everything worked except the keyboard. - After checking with CalDigit customer service (great btw, all their replies in chat were informed, just fantastic) and making sure everything was fine with the docking station, I contacted DasKeyboard customer service. What a disaster. they don't know anything or just don't read the questions - they asked to connect the keyboard directly to the computer (the new M1 doesn't have USB-A ports), try all possible combinations that the new laptops don't have, then say that it was probably the fault of the dock or my "setup". - In fact, it took them 9 days to come to this conclusion. Long story short, I went to Google, checked similar issues and found someone on Quora saying that the keyboard (from the Mac) comes with two USB ports, one for power and one for using the keyboard ; Just unplug the power and everything works. and indeed it is so. - Since I have enough ports with the docking station, I no longer need two keyboard ports, so with just one the problem is gone. DasKeyboard hasn't figured it out for 9 days. - I really haven't figured out why the USB power delivery isn't working, but that doesn't matter anymore. - The "best” is that every time DasKeyboard customer service replies and submits this for them, the "ticket” gets solved. What a customer service joke, worst ever. - great facilities, terrible service
