I was hesitant to buy this lever because some reviews said the tension wire inside the lever breaks easily when you move it frequently. But then I thought, well, the purpose of a mic boom is to set it up and just leave it in the most comfortable position for the user, so I don't have to worry about that issue. Needless to say I ended up buying it so here are the pros and cons. Pros: It has a very solid base that sits beautifully on any table, no matter how thick or thin. Brackets and visible springs! - Cable management clips on the top and back of the mount save you the trouble of looking for ways to manage cables yourself (easily fits both USB and XLR cables). It's not one of those mic booms where you can move it all the time, more of a "set it and forget it" mic boom. The microphone is not covered by the warranty, so be careful! Yeti or any other high tier Glimmer is safe on this site based on previous reviews. Summary I've been using this arm for about 3 months and haven't had any problems with it. However, it's important to remember that I also use a Thronmax mic and a Shock mount. So in my case, all of these components were designed to complement each other and work flawlessly. If you're the kind of person who doesn't fiddle with their microphone hands then this is for you, as I said this is a 'set and forget' stand!
