First off I’ve always liked Starter. I remember when everyone bought there jackets and they weren’t cheap. Somewhere along the way I feel like the brand disappeared and then came back. Sometime around 2009 Walmart started carrying Starter brand boxer breifs. I bought a mult pack and again Starter brand came thru. I wore them until they wore out. My girlfriend loved them on me to. Something about that contrast stitch. Anyway, for all this Starter love I was surprised to see Walmart carrying jock. Its the best jock I’ve ever worn. The material breaths really well- like Under Armour boxer breifs, and is silky smooth without being something a male stripper would choose. Best of all: it fits all of my junk. The UA jock I bought in college felt great but the pouch wasn’t large enough and smashed more than cradled, and putting a cup in that?- forget it. This one is the best and opposite all that. I wear it for runs cuz it’s hot in Texas and I find the less I wear underneath the better when working out. I dont wear this one with a cup but I think it would fit fine and there is a cup pocket.Update: 11/09/2018-Continue to be impressed by this jock. Worn to the gym countless times and holds up in the wash. It still feels like almost nothing’s there yet holds everything in place.Now my only suggestion is that Starter make the thinner waist band option/version, like in swimmers or runners style jocks. Then I could wear this on my cross country runs really long runs. And maybe new colors: white and gray? But it’s a small request as this things near perfect.
