No break. My cat almost died!
They are the same as any other tranquilizer collar so that doesn't mean they are below average in comparison. They are good for what they are. But just a word of warning: like everyone else, they didn't break out. My cat almost died because of one of them. When I came home from work one day, I found her with her jaw under her collar. She was covered in saliva and blood, probably from trying to free herself for several hours. I cut it off her immediately (she's fine now). NEVER AGAIN! NEVER BUY ALL-IN-ONE COLLARS!
