First of all, if you haven't addressed EMF exposure before, do so before using Bluetooth on your child's skin. I thought I could disable the feature but it still lights up even though I've never connected to it so I don't know if it's checking for bluetooth or something else but I'm uncomfortable with it on my chest my children is. . Second, the chest clip is very easy to detach. My little one never tried and couldn't in her old seat, but she unbuckled it immediately and stretched out her arms the first time we rode the car. That's what my one-year-old son learned. The straps are also very smooth as other reviews have mentioned, there is no "click" feature, they just tighten so one strap is always tighter than the other because the straps are so smooth. I love how it actually mounts in the car, but those safety issues are too severe so I'm returning them both. Not only am I writing this review to warn other parents, but also to hope that the company will reconsider the specs of their products.
