- First off, it's not artichoke color, I don't know why they call it that. - It is a medium to dark brown color with leather texture, a very attractive color. - A very traditional layout - two compartments for paper money and pockets on the sides for cards - I don't like the mesh for the ID window - it's a black mesh, you can't read anything through it. You still need to remove your ID. It is definitely real leather, it has an amazing new leather smell. But it's on the thin side. It also has RFID protection, but they use a very thin RFID fabric. My other wallet brands have thicker protective fabric. In terms of cost, it's better than department store quality, but probably lower than department store quality. This would be your basic quality wallet in a place like Kohl. So a price under $20 isn't bad, but I'd rather see a price in the $10-$15 range.
