no matter what I did I couldn't focus clearly enough. Night vision is ok. Not great, but not exactly rubbish either. It's really hard. Using full zoom is useless as it is completely unstable. There is no image stabilization. You need a tripod to use it. I'm not lugging my tripod into the field just to use the damn thing. The whole block seems cheap and smells like your typical low quality Chinese imports. you know the smell I'll return it tomorrow. Do yourself a favor and save money to buy the right device.
