Stupid, I should have been more careful and compared the screw size to those that came with the car. When I screwed them on they were pretty hard to turn and then the CLIP receiving end came loose in the machine so I'm now stuck in the plate with the flex screws. I can't get past the plate to secure the pickup end and now it rotates with the screw so I can't tighten or loosen the screw. Luckily there were only two of these (I know there should have been only one. Persevere to the point of failure. Two "entrances" before I fully understood what the problem was), so I have two good screws (the one with the machine were delivered ) holds the plate. securely in place and two flexible ones that would rattle and get on my nerves. I will eventually find a way to remove them and fix the problem, but if you have a Tesla they will NOT work for you.
