Great Spring Loaded Cell Phone Mount

I was looking for a cell phone mount for my 1996 Toyota Corolla, a car with greed vents and center vents just above the radio. I chose Dudao's F2B mount, which features a spring-loaded clamp mechanism activated by a button in the center of the platform. I was intrigued by the locking mechanism and the F2B platform is narrower than the mount I used. I was also interested to see if the vent mounting clip would be more secure due to the "cross-lock buckle" that closes around the vent louver. The mobile phone platform F2B works very well. Placing the phone over the button engages and locks the spring-loaded retention mechanism. The lower fork is manually adjustable via multiple tabs that it snaps into. When you want to release the phone, there are separate levers that you squeeze to depress the retaining springs and separate the side clips. While I'm impressed with how secure the F2B phone mount platform is, I did find the F2B vent. - The molded plastic mounting clip was too big to fit most horizontal blinds and the few it did caused the grille to pivot down too much. Luckily my old phone mount had a clip (similar to the one that came with Dudao's F12) that fit my Corolla and also had a 17mm bullet. I was able to find a solution that combines an F2B cell phone mount with an F12 style air vent clip. With my horizontal axis blinds and limited clearance at the bottom, I really needed a clamp with extra "tabs" that wouldn't allow the vent to rotate down too far. So I am happy with this phone holder platform and its spring loaded phone grip. , although I had to use a near-universal 17mm ball-to-fan mount from another kit. The only thing I don't like about this kit is that I would advise another person with a '96 Corolla to order the F12 vent ball mount and F2B platform (two separate kits) even though they are both made by the same company .
