I'm careful with my money and I shop the same way. When a friend suggested them, I thought the price for 300 sheets was risky. But I'm also very environmentally conscious so I gave them a try even though they seemed over my budget. I was very excited to go to bed the night I washed and hung them! I could tell they were miraculously very soft as soon as I opened them. They're also the PERFECT sheet set for summer - very light and comfortable. It's supposed to be organic cotton, but in terms of softness and size, it rivals and even surpasses my Macy's 750 linens. Moral of the story: ask your trusted friends for advice!
