Review on ICoudy Ergonomic Computer Armrests Adjustable by Emily Waffles

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Expected better for the price

My old computer chair broke so I decided to spend a little more to get better quality. The chair is fine if you managed to assemble it. If you are not mechanical, it will be very difficult for you. The armrest holes are offset by almost 1/4 inch. Spend the better part of 2 days talking to customer service. The problem is that they are in China, which puts them 12 hours ahead of the US. Makes communication difficult. Anyway, the only way to mount the armrest (they also support the bottom half of the chair) is to hold the armrests about 2" above the threaded inserts that line up with the slip and tighten both bolts at the same time. basically forcing them by threatening to insert them. Very difficult work and almost impossible without outside help. I don't know if the armrests warped after manufacture or if the holes weren't planned from the start. Either way, it's harder than it should be. In hindsight, I probably should have just used Revain's return option. But what is is. Once the assembly difficulties are overcome, the chair feels comfortable and wide enough for my build (6ft 1in 245lbs). In summary, the assembly is too complicated and the hole deviation is unexpected for the price paid, the support is good for now. They bridge a time interval of 12 hours. Unless you're mechanically inclined, stay away from this article.
