Review on πŸ’ͺ FlexiGuard: Self-Leveling Rotatable Protection with Flexible Shielding by Jim Bethea

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Works with some limitations

It works well in terms of sharp and clean 360 degree laser lines in both vertical and horizontal planes. The laser can be switched on in each plane or in both planes at the same time. The laser also has an automatic leveling function: turn on the switch and the laser unit is released from the housing. If the base of the laser is not level, the device will beep quite loudly and flash red. The laser is powered by a special battery, the included power supply, or both. a slot for each of the items: laser, battery, green glasses, laser target, and corner holder. All items fit snugly in the case. However, there are problems: - The laser has a small battery indicator with several notches showing the remaining charge. According to the instructions, this indicator should be red when the battery is charging and green when fully charged. Unfortunately, the battery light did not come on at all on the two devices I tested. "2 year warranty" is printed on the first page of the manual. However, the warranty is not printed anywhere. The product is manufactured on www.wesco-tools.com and I could not find any warranty information on the website. There is also no mention of any information about technical support or customer support. Contacts on the site only provide a Chinese address and phone number in China.

Pros
  • Line laser
Cons
  • Big and bulky
