Works great. Be sure to use one of the power extension cords that came with the unit. These cables have a male connector that plugs into the drive bay so you can see the backplane LEDs. This slotless bay has a very strong eject system, some others absurdly often break the bay door open when you "try" to eject a drive from the computer. It wasn't my first choice for a backplane before I bought it, but now that I have it I'm impressed with its quality. StarTech makes great products and provides exceptional customer service.
