I purchased these suspenders to wear with my tux to go to a Mardi Gras ball. I did like the fact that they were stretchy and the clasps that attach to the pants stayed in place. I was expecting the straps to be just a little bit thicker but I think that was my fault for not paying attention to the description. However, my biggest complaint is the clamps or locks that keeps them at a certain length. I spent the whole night adjusting and readjusting because the clamps would come undone and loosen up. I am a big guy with a big belly and every time I moved, I would have to reposition the clamps.
