Does not work with uv5r. Unfortunately that doesn't work. In my case, every step works until I try to read from the radio. Then it hangs in the application, restarts the radio and that's it. I definitely don't want to try to write on the radio if I can't read the radio. Email tidradio and they didn't help and told me to return the unit for a refund. I will. If I were you, avoid it until you can make it work. It's a cool idea, surprised no one has done it yet, but sadly it's not ready for prime time just yet. Buyer Warning.
