1. Both sides are smooth with no visible pulp defects or uneven colour. The paper is quite thick, definitely not delicate.2. Pretty cheap for square origami paper which is perfect for my student to learn how to fold new shapes without using expensive origami paper or just plain white copy paper. So far, everything he's put together has worked well. The paper has enough elasticity for the frog to "jump". The balloon is easy to inflate. The objects hold their shape fairly well, but the creases don't come out super flat because the paper is a bit thick.
