Review on 🌨️ Thermaltake H200 Snow Edition Mid Tower Case with Tempered Glass, RGB Light Strip, and 120mm Rear Fan (CA-1M3-00M6WN-03) by Jim Shirodkar

Main Pros: Looks attractive but without the goofy 'gamer' aesthetic, good value for money. The supplied manual is complete nonsense, there is no power indicator and the built-in front fans interfere with the length of the graphics card. It's a really attractive case and offers enough space for a fairly large CPU cooler as well as enough space to add a large assortment. case fans. I went with 2 x 140mm in front, 140mm on top and a 120mm blue LED to replace the rear. The front fans had to be removed inside the case, where they violated the space for the graphics card. Luckily I was using a graphics card short enough that it didn't matter. The fans I used shed about an inch (26mm) or so. Installing fans between the front panel and the chassis as shown on page 10 of the manual did not work because the top 140mm fan interferes with the cable routing to the front panel. This can work with 3x120mm fans between the front of the case and the bezel. I haven't tried it, but I'm skeptical. I gave this case a star for "Easy to Assemble" due to the poor quality of the instructions. Removing the front panel requires little effort. I used a non-scratch plastic car trim remover to remove it. I was afraid that I would use enough force to break something. Case plastics are generally not known for their durability. At first I was baffled by the old style 4 pin molex connector that said 'LED' until I saw a youtube video reviewing this product. It turns out to be a blue LED strip on the right edge of the bezel. The button labeled "LED" on the front turns it on and off. There is no mention of this in the instructions. (This info is courtesy of Youtube reviewer Will.N.Dad - thanks!) The guide also mentions a "power light" found on most computer cases, but not this one. It is clear that the attached printed instructions refer to a different version of this case. There is a window in the PSU bay so you can see the size of the PSU you have installed. It has two holes at the top; I would suggest running the power cords through one of them. There are many attachment points to keep your wiring neatly organized. TT supplies a few small zips but I would suggest buying more. All in all a good buy. Recommended, but with the caveat that if this is your first build, or if you haven't built a rig in a long time (my first in 6.5 years), the lack of instructions may cause some difficulties.
