Pretty good for close-ups

I wanted something I could use to laminate my two wallet-sized childhood photos back to back. I asked this question in the Q&A section of the product page and got three affirmative answers. It's great to have a resource like this, but sometimes people get overly optimistic/reassuring when maybe they haven't actually tried it. I would give this product an 8 out of 10 for this type of use. One side is completely transparent, no glue and slightly harder/thicker; This side is obviously intended to show what you have laminated. However, the other side is slightly matt due to the glue, so my son's painting is not as clear as my daughter's. I understand, that it wasn't necessarily meant for that purpose, and I'm glad it works as well as it does, but it's not perfect. Another thing to mention is that there is quite a bit of hangover around the edges of the images. This is (the only place) where the back sheet adheres to the front sheet and seals the contents. I actually trimmed some to better fit my wallet. I left a good 1/8 inch or more, but maybe I still took too much because two photos are thicker (than one) and will cause the two sheets to separate more. After a week in my purse I found that with every move (in my purse) the glue loses the fight and I may have to start over with a new bag (or whatever you call it). By the way, about bags. , That is not correct. They are two sheets joined by a non-removable seam along a short edge. You (simply) separate two sheets, align the item in place on the stiffer front half, then slowly peel off the paper covering the sticky plastic backing and stick it to the back of the item. This is relatively easy to do without getting any air bubbles or wrinkles, just take your time and use your fingers or whatever to push it down as you roll it off the hinge side. , That is not correct.
