If you take about a dozen bags and change them once a month I think it will work, but they start to clog quickly. The airflow comes out when drainage is very limited, when this air comes out with a good flow, it carries with it a lot of moisture, when it becomes a trickle, as they rotate after a few weeks, your aquarium will remain much wetter than it can be .Change them regularly!
