I have two guinea pigs and to be honest they poop A LOT. If you have a fabric bottom cage, you're going crazy. I just got a new lower rubber cage and then I got these. They are rubberized on the bottom so they are non-slip, have a good thickness and perfectly absorb moisture as a second layer under the padding. Now when I remove her cage, I can take her out, clean it and the rubber bottom of the cage doesn't get dirty. Please note that I have an 8 sqft cage and two of these (as seen in the photo) don't quite cover the entire surface so I will be buying two more. Eventually, and I'm not sure how long, they'll probably get too messy to keep in a cage, but they do help with cleaning and absorption. The minced meat for pigs must be lower. Big.
