I'm a pierced adult from Claire's Accessories Store. I originally bought a replacement because the backs that came with my ear piercing purchase were not white gold but stainless steel and were irritating to my ear. So I bought them as replacements and they fit. However, the edges that abut my ear are VERY SHARP and cut through the back of my earlobe! You'll notice they have a little protrusion that sticks out, that's the part that cuts my ear. I'm disappointed because I bought two sets of these. Now I have to find new ones.
