I have no idea about the hundreds of 4/5 out of 5 reviews on this subject. Yes, it looks very nice in your bar, but in terms of actual use, the kit has a few glaring flaws. 1) Includes a small 1 ounce measuring tip. Most shakes call for 2 oz. Not to mention, this jigger's 1 ounce is filled to the brim, which means there's no spilling. I ended up ordering a 2oz Japanese style jigger instead (and it will NOT fit in a wooden coaster. It's only made for a 1oz jigger). 2) The shaker jug cannot be unscrewed. The lid and top cap simply slide into place and if you're not careful or get too much ice liquid will spill from the side or loose lid. 3) Other components like bottle cap, agitator are fine and doing their job. OK. As for the shaker, I ended up going to my local Bev-N-More store and got the one with the screw top. As I have used this set I cannot return it but will keep it in my home bar mainly for decoration. Wouldn't recommend at all.
