Exactly one year has passed since the purchase and it no longer works. completely dead. Two sets of fresh batteries didn't help. Tomorrow I will call US HQ to ask about the warranty, but that means sending it back to someone and also if the warranty is only one year, proof that it didn't work yesterday (which it did) . It wasn't abuse so I see no reason not to do it. Too expensive to fail so quickly. Update: We sent the salt mill back and it came back fully functional. It took a few weeks due to the part not being available but so far it's been working fine after about 3 months.
