The pins are too thick and too close together

They do best on hollow stem plants, not woody stem plants (think irises, not roses). I'm sure they work in some situations, but in our small arrangements, even when I tried to "pre-drill" a hole in the stem, they don't work.

Pros

✶ Create flower arrangements in small, flat containers. Simply press the base of the stem onto the brass pins and use sticky clay to attach the frog to the jar.
