Review on πŸ–¨οΈ IvernTech Linear Carriage Printing Machine by Gabriel Salleh

Small details create great performance!

These rails work right out of the box. Unlike many of Hiwin's cheaper replicas, these were well lubricated and glided smoothly rather than being coated in shipping wax and grinding. That being said, I still followed my standard practice of taking the rails apart, cleaning them with isopropyl alcohol, and re-lubricating them. with Slick50 Supercharged One Lube and MAN everything is smooth now! While disassembling them I noticed a few small details which I believe are the main reason these rails are better than most. First, the quality of the molded plastic parts is much better than expected. There are no flares on the edges and they all match perfectly. Second, and perhaps more importantly, the beginning and end of the lanes where the balls actually roll have been carefully eased and narrowed so that as the balls enter and exit the lanes, there is no hard edge once rolled and caused a click or tug . . These rails are MUCH better quality than RobotDigg's offerings and V-Slot wheels that roll 2020 aluminum profiles out of the water. In my case, a Delta Ultibots D300VS+ printer, replacing the V-groove wheels with these linear bearings causes the test print result in vase mode to change from the wavy appearance of the blue part shown in the image to the oily, smooth surface of the black Part. Use the same G-code! In short, in my experience these are pretty awesome rails. Give them a chance!
