Excellent replacement for the stock engine on the Subaru Legacy 08
No problems with it. Used it to replace a dead engine in my old Subaru 08. Looks the same as the original, only black. As I am not a mechanic my only advice is when you twist and tighten the lever mechanism make sure it is in the "start" position and you have not revved the engine at all. Otherwise the wipers won't be in the right part of the cycle when you turn them on and then you realize it's a dummy and you have to take it apart again.
