I only bought this little desk stand to hold my iPhone in online meetings and it's perfect for that purpose. Even at maximum opening, the block is stable and reliable. The ball socket allows me to set the desired angle. A tripod is also suitable for holding an iPad, but with the caveat that the weight of the fully extended iPad makes the position too heavy and therefore less stable than desired. Note: This is a tripod only. This does not include an adapter for iPhone or iPad.
