Review on 1.75-Inch EK Tools Circle Punch with New Packaging by Shantel Griffin

I've been looking for a long time for a circular die that will cut 1.75" circles for a project I'm working on. Many 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 inches, but few 1.75 inches. After finding this product on Revain and reading the great reviews I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. I mainly cut cardboard and this punch easily cuts through thicker paper. Also, there's a viewfinder at the bottom so you can see what you're cutting out (which is really helpful for me as the circles I need to cut out are marked and I need to cut them out in exactly the right place). I also like that it locks into place when I'm not using it (makes it a bit flatter and easier to store). All in all I am very happy with this product and knowing what I know now I would have no hesitation in buying it again. updated 08/12/14. Downgraded from 5 to 4 stars as it is already having trouble cutting thinner paper. Still works well on card stock or when I fold plain paper in half, but the cut doesn't come out as clean on a sheet of plain paper (always needs a bit of trimming afterwards).
