Review on 🪟 CHICOLOGY Roman Window Shades - Room Darkening and Privacy - 23"W x 64"H - Belgian Flax - Light Filtering Window Treatments by Katrina Taylor

This does NOT look like the fabric in the photos. I'm an interior designer and I'm probably more picky than most people as I work a lot with fabrics and finishes. Against common sense, I bought these for a large window in my home office, primarily to save money. I wanted the linen look (that is, a slightly textured woven fabric) but real linen costs about twice as much. The photo they post gives the impression that they must have some kind of texture, like linen, specifically the name "Belgian Linen" is associated with a specific color and type of linen. But they do NOT look like the fabric in the picture. It's a bit shiny polyester and looks like this. :( The fabric is smooth (almost silky) and looks cheap. They are definitely not as pretty as the picture. The back is white so it filters the light but definitely doesn't block it. The mechanism and installation is simple and work.Well no complaints this part seems well made for the price.Just be aware that it looks very cheap at least from a designer point of view.It is best used where it will be visible from afar, not up close.
