Sometimes these razors are enough for five head and face shaves, sometimes they are only enough for one shave. I know the razor has run out when it starts pulling and skipping large strands of hair. Asco would never shave me well (I only shave with grit - 3 passes with an inclined sledgehammer). BUT I just bought an adjustable Merkur Futur and used Asco blades, for fun. I set my Futur to manual 2.5 and the shave was excellent. Razor matters, who would have thought I'd shave better with an adjustable razor than an Asco angled razor. I'm sticking with Federn in my Bias and Asco in my Zukunft. I don't get it but it seems like certain safety razors are like certain blades and what works on my face and head may not work on yours. Since the price was so good, I don't regret the purchase. If you buy them and you really don't like them, you can give them to me. I will be sincerely grateful.
