Review on Philips 272E1CA Frameless Adaptive Sync Replacement Monitor: πŸ–₯️ Full HD, Tilt Adjustment, Built-In Speakers, Curved LED Display by Ryan Ulrich

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The text on the monitor is very clear and legible.

I'm a business user, not a gamer. The update might not be for hardcore gamers, but my daughter's boyfriend said it's pretty good for a 60Hz monitor. I had no problems or complaints. I unpacked it, plugged it in (using a good braided display port cable that I bought with the monitor https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0861QVLHQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and started using his. I found the monitor too bright when I first used it. I turned it off 3 times and now I set the brightness to 68%; Contrast 50% and sharpness 70%. I haven't touched on colour, gamma or color temperature and it seems really good. I did not try to edit photos. I do a lot of text editing, spreadsheets, CAD and CAD PDM, solid models and drawing.

Pros
  • The low input lag makes it ideal for gaming.
Cons
  • Poor Response Time: If the monitor's response time is too slow, movements may appear blurry or slow.
