Review on UGREEN 4 Port USB Hub 3.0 Data Hub | High-Speed Mac Mini, MacBook Air, iMac Pro, Surface Compatible | Portable Extension Cable Included by Austin Hearshman

Great value for money

Pros - Works fine without electricity for my needs. (I generally don't connect multiple devices that require a lot of power through a hub) - Multiple devices work fine (powered hard drive dock, external 2.5" hard drive and flash drive were connected and everything worked fine for a few days with a WiFi keyboard and mouse connected to an old USB 2 computer. I don't recommend plugging wireless peripherals into hubs. They always hang, NOT on the hub but on the USB controller of the computer. .Cons-Lightweight (Es will not find a product in this category that is not light). This always makes their placement and management difficult. All the grommets in recent years are very light so you will need velcro or attach them if that is a problem - Very light blue Light Another common theme for products like this one of ugreen's external hard drive enclosures has a nice film over the blue light to make it much w to make it more intense. Comments on other reviews would be very helpful here - many early USB-3 controllers don't handle hubs very well. Since most hubs used to be USB 2, people get confused. If you claim it's lagging, it could just be your computer. With newer 3/3.1 controllers, especially Intel, these problems are solved. If you have many other devices connected directly to your computer, you cannot expect the hub to end up working well. You need a chipset that can handle multiple high-traffic devices. The processor and RAM alone do not help.
