So I transferred data from my old flash drive to my new one. I added about 45GB and everything was fine. A few days later I went to backup my phone's photos and after 50GB was used on it, it erased everything that was stored on it after 50GB of memory used when I disconnected the flash drive. I haven't had this problem with any flash drive I've used in the past, so the problem isn't with my laptop. Not sure if it's just a defect or something else, but if it is then it's a product scam.
