They work as advertised and clean well in hard to reach places, I use them on some refillable water bottles which I have received, they are very clean with no problems. The little thin brush is perfect for straws to clean them which is great because I love cups with straws but I've always hated cleaning straws it was almost impossible but now I can be sure of the straw is clean. They also make great spill proof mugs and kids mugs like my friend who uses mine when she brings her son and needs to wash his mug and says she feels they make it cleaner than anything else and it is even difficult to wash the areas of these mugs.
