Super good quality. I haven't had it for a long time and I forgot how it opens. At the latch it looks like you need to pull the back part as it's big and hanging over the back looks like the perfect place to pull it up, no pull the front black part over the lens after You pushed the tab over it is next to the arrow. The turnbuckle that holds the mounting hardware is better than the ones I've used before, it tightens and holds the hardware in place. One thing I like to have with me is a tripod thread mount as sometimes I need to use a tripod. .I would recommend this case, I would buy again.
