Product had slight crease marks upon opening, but have quickly disappeared after hanging for a few days. Does a more than exceptional job of "blackout" I was surprised that during the middle of a sunny day, I had to turn on my ceiling light to see the inside of my room. These curtains have two sleeves for your rod, I used the bottom one, which provided a supple amount of curtain on the top, to lay down and cover the gap at the top of my windows so no light flooded in from above. Installation was easy: I didn't have to buy new rods. I just used the standard, extendable, white curtain rods that were already on my windows. There is an interesting dichotomy about the weight of the curtain. While the curtain is light enough to not over-stress my (frankly) cheap curtain rod and brackets. Contrarily, it is also heavy enough to not be affected from my fan running 24/7. There is minimal movement, but not enough to have a noticeable difference in light, and certainly not enough to disturb any slumber. They seem to keep my room cooler than normal (It is summer while I'm writing this) which is wonderful - can't wait for winter to see how they do with keeping out the cold. Overall, extremely impressed with the quality and performance considering they are a very affordable product. It was a great buy, and I have more coming for other windows in the house.
