I bought it to blow on my pepper seedlings. It sure moves air for being so small. Only need the lowest speed to get a gentle movement for 3 ft.The highest setting is super strong for the size of the fan. I’m sure for an office desk fan you’d get the airflow at one of the speeds. My fan was quiet on the first two speeds, a little noise as expected on the two higher speeds. One drawback I have is that I wanted to use the fan on a timer. Once power is off, you must manually push the button to start the fan. The USB cord is only 31 inches.
