Setting up this router was extremely easy. I have Fios internet and WIFI was always frustrating because of the modem/router the ISP provides. I'm not sure why I waited so long to buy a router. A few months ago I bought a WiFi extender that boosts the signal at the other end of the house. The problem is that it cuts bandwidth in half, which was already slow due to the weak router the ISP provides. After installing this router, my signal is strong everywhere in the house and even projects around the house. I have a 1500 square foot house to give you an idea of how much space it takes up without issue. I also ran speed tests in different parts of the house using different devices with 4 different speed tests and also switched ping servers on these speed tests. My throughput has more than doubled with upstream and downstream speeds. We're paying 50/50 (50 incoming and 50MB incoming) and now I'm getting an average of 50 incoming and 58 incoming. Before this router, I struggled to get 20MB down and the download was even worse. As mentioned, you do everything, including setup, via the Google WIFI app, which you download from the Playstore or Appstore. The settings are very minimal as this is not a router you buy to set up a lot of manual settings, rules, firewalls etc. It's basically a plug and play device that just works. If you're looking for a more reliable router for VPN setup etc, look elsewhere, but if you just want a router that's easy to set up and works really well, then waste no more time and buy one!
