Review on FC1079 FC1080 Compatible Lincoln Mercury by Mike Weaver

Went to fill up an F150 these days - $170. When I unscrewed the original gas cap, it broke and flew out of my hands. - I said. Words. Luckily there was still enough to unscrew it, remove my #@^$ throttle and screw it back on tight enough to avoid having to "check the engine light" due to the lack of a gas cap gasket. Stumbled upon the Revain while filling up, found this gas cap, ordered it and it was delivered the next day. The "installation" took about 17 seconds and I now have a small strap that snapped on mine a long time ago. It would be nice to have peace of mind now that people are draining your gas tank while stealing your catalytic converters. But for the "original replacement" it's perfect.
