I received these shoes on November 18, 2018 and this photo was taken on December 29, 2018. I have shoes 2 not 1 as they are called trail running shoes and I walk on the pavement every day which probably contributes to wear on the sole of the shoe. I've put about 350 miles on them since I bought them and expected better wear and tear. If you have trouble walking on the sidewalk, don't skimp and buy Tesla shoes. If you're a "cross-country runner" and spend more time on your toes than on your heels, this might work for you. Fit was good. I wear a 9E or 9 1/2 D and these 9 1/2 were comfortable.
