Review on Scotch Precision Scissors 3 Pack 1458 3AMZ by Morgan Gilmore

I have been a quilter and seamstress for decades and have tried many scissors, including very expensive ones. I am very impressed with the Scotch scissors. The scissors are very sharp and squeak nicely when cutting. They are comfortable to hold. I love that the handles of the three scissors in this set are different colors so I can color in their use. I'm going to use one for fabric (I do a lot of fiber drawing and that's my main use for scissors), one for paper projects (paper blunts scissors faster than fabric), and one for cutting shipping tape (tape). sticks to the blades so they don't cut well over time). The blades of the scissors are titanium and appear black (not silver like stainless steel scissors). I am attaching four pictures that I will refer to in this review. Photo #1: The scissors were carefully packed and separated for shipping Photo #2: The handle of the scissors is made of soft plastic and is comfortable to hold. The scissors are made for right-handers. Photo #3: The holes in the handle of the scissors are too big. In the third photo I'm showing Scotch scissors alongside similar sized Fons and Porter scissors and Fiscars scissors. You can see the opening of the scotch scissors is larger. The handle material is softer than the other two. Therefore, I found them very comfortable to use for a long time. Photo #4: Shows a pair of Scotch scissors on a letter scale, weighing 2.9 ounces. They're heavy enough to cut in difficult conditions, but not too heavy for me to tire using. All in all the scissors exceeded my expectations considering I have paid significantly more for other scissors that work no better than regular scissors. Scissors in this set. I recommend them!
