Like most people looking at this outlet, I have a 2000 Chevy pickup with non-working daytime running lights. And like everyone else, the sockets are burned and melted down. The old bulbs had burned out, leaving a hazy haze in the case. I cut off the old connectors, soldered the new ones and inserted heat shrink tubing (you don't use crappy butt connectors do you?) and washed the cases in warm soapy water to try to get rid of any haze left inside. and let it air dry. I replaced the lightbulbs with LED (they get much colder and don't burn new cartridges) and everything is like new or maybe better than new? Good price, good quality and fast delivery.
